Representative Arndt, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 17-031, concerning the scheduled repeal of reports by the Department of Corrections to the General Assembly. Representative Arndt discussed an amendment placed on the bill in the Senate. Discussion ensued regarding the amendment. The following person testified regarding the bill:

Ms. Christina Rosendahl, representing the Department of Corrections, testified in support of the bill. She discussed the efficiencies created by the bill, and addressed the Senate amendment. Ms. Rosendahl discussed the reporting requirements scheduled to be repealed by the bill. Ms. Rosendahl responded to questions regarding the availability of certain information once the reporting requirements are repealed.
