Senator Cutter, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 24-084, concerning a requirement that the attorney general undertake certain measures in an effort to prevent the proliferation of misinformation and disinformation, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.

Senators Will and Bridges, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 24-090, concerning possession of identifying information while driving, and in connection therewith, increasing the penalty for a driver who refuses to provide to a peace officer identifying information that is in the driver's possession. 

The bill sponsors explained the bill's intent.  They requested to complete the testimony phase and then lay the bill over for amendments.
