Senator Gardner, chair, called the committee to order. Senator Marble, sponsor, presented House Bill 17-1316, concerning delaying the implementation of House Bill 16-1309. At the request of the chair, Mr. Richard Sweetman, Office of Legislative Legal Services, joined Senator Marble at the table for the presentation. Senator Marble explained the effect of the bill. Mr. Sweetman responded to a question concerning the effect of HB 17-1316 on the 2016 Colorado Session Laws and on 2017 legislation.
