Senator Coram, bill sponsor, introduced Senate Bill 19-139.  The bill requires the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to expand the locations at which it administers identification documents to people who are temporarily present or who are not lawfully present in Colorado.  Senator Moreno, bill sponsor, made further comments on the bill.  The bill sponsors distributed a handout (Attachment A) and amendment L.002 (Attachment B), and responded to comments from the committee regarding the bill's interaction with voting eligibility, the bill's fiscal impact, and implications for employment authorization.
