Mr. Tim Canterbury, appointee to the Advisory Committee to the Property Tax Administrator, introduced himself , described his background, and explained his interest in serving on the board. The appointment letter may be found in Attachment A. Mr. Canterbury's application and resume is available at the State Archives. Ms. JoAnn Groff, Property Tax Administrator, introduced herself and commented on the role of the advisory committee. Members of the committee commented on Mr. Canterbury's appointment.

Senator Holbert, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 16-1119, which expands sales and use tax exemptions for aircraft. Under the bill, aircraft undergoing maintenance, interior refurbishment, paint, or engine work associated with a sale are exempted from sales and use under specified circumstances.
