Senator Hill, chair, called the meeting to order. Senator Coram, sponsor, presented House Bill 17-1003 which concerns a strategic plan to address teacher shortages in Colorado. He explained why the bill is necessary, especially in many rural school districts. Senator Coram answered questions from the committee.
