12:04 PM -- Presentation on Patriot Boot Camp



Senator Hill asked Rex Laceby to come to the table to speak about the Patriot Boot Camp program at the University of Colorado. Mr. Laceby explained that the program helps veterans during the transition to higher education after military service by filling in the gaps in educational support systems for veterans coming back from service. Mr. Laceby answered questions from the committee.

Senator Priola, sponsor, presented House Bill 17-1271 which concerns waivers granted to school districts of innovation. Senator Priola distributed amendment L.003 (Attachment A) and explained the amendment.
