Senator Neville introduced House Bill 18-1237,
concerning the continuation of the cost-benefit analysis for rules.  The
bill continues the provision of the Administrative Procedures Act allowing
any person to request a cost-benefit analysis of proposed state agency
rules.  The provision is currently scheduled to repeal on September
1, 2018.  The bill continues the program indefinitely.

18-178, concerning insurance coverage for independent commercial vehicles.
 The bill allows commercial truckers to carry private occupational
accident insurance instead of workers' compensation insurance.  Senator
Smallwood provided a handout and Amendment L.001 to the committee (Attachment
E and F).
