Senator Tate and Senator Merrifield introduced House Bill 16-1288, concerning an industry infrastructure grant program. The bill creates the Industry Infrastructure Grant Program within the Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC). The program enables the CWDC to partner with authorized nonprofit entities to develop industry competency standards to support businesses in their implementation of work site training programs.
Senators Tate and Merrifield provided two handouts to the committee (Attachments A and B). Senator Merrified responded to questions from the committee.
