Ginny Brannon, Division Director, Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Department of Natural Resources, introduced the Mined Land Reclamation Board and appointee Jill Nelson. Ms. Nelson discussed her background and experience in the mining industry.

 The bill allows a board of county commissioners to apply to the State
Engineer to have certain ponds designated as fire suppression ponds. Senator
Donovan noted that the bill would be heard but laid over for action.
