The committee was called to order. A quorum was present. Bill Levine, Budget Director, Department of Natural Resources, explained the increase in total project cost for the Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project Mitigation. Committee members received a summary of the project, prepared by Legislative Council Staff (Attachment A). Mr. Levine responded to committee questions related to the relocation of an adjacent pump station and gas line.

Water Conservation Board, came to the table to respond to committee questions
regarding the history of the project and how the cost estimate has changed
since the project's inception.
