Lauren Ris, Deputy Director, and Greg Johnson, Water Supply Planning Chief, Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB), updated the committee on the progress of the Colorado Water Plan, including the technical updates made in 2019, and distributed the Executive Summary (Attachment A).

Mr. Ris stated that the CWCB's goals are to complete the plan on time, improve process, engage stakeholders, and incorporate feedback.

Mr. Johnson discussed the analysis and technical update, the basin implementation plan, the comprehensive update, and results. He explained the use of new tools for data collection in agriculture, environmental flows, and municipal conservation. He continued to discuss water demands by sector and future gaps.
