discussed Bill 1, that would provide financial assistance for individuals
to study psychology and a grant program for schools to enable them to hire
school counselors (Attachment A).

Aimee Rednick discussed Bill 2, which would create the Office of Disordered Eating Prevention in the Department of Public Health and Environment. The office would be advised by a Disordered Eating Prevention Commission and will provide grant funding for research on risk factors, impacts, and interventions associated with disordered eating (Attachment B).

discussed Bill 3, which creates the Secondary Student Substance Use Committee
to identify practices to identify substance abuse in secondary schools
and connect students to resources (Attachment C). She responded to questions
from the committee.

Skye O'Toole introduced Bill 4, which makes changes to content standards in comprehensive health and human sexuality instruction, creates a program to contract with clinics for low or no-cost HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, and requires the creation of a youth advisory board and educational campaign related to HIV/AIDS awareness (Attachment D).
