Kaminski, University of Colorado, gave an overview of legal definition
of artificial intelligence (AI). The presentation can be found here:

The presentation provided information on technical definitions for AI and machine learning, legal definitions, the evolution of legal definitions, and takeaways when trying to address AI through legal terms. Professor Kaminski continued the presentation with information on the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), OECD definitions of AI system and AI system lifecycle, an overview of the EU AI Act of 2024, and the Executive Order 14110 on AI (2023).

Professor Kaminski a number of questions regarding topics such as the best
way to approach defining AI, the use of AI systems and algorithms, unintended
consequence, discrimination, implications of the inputs and outputs of
AI, and the definition of high risk AI.

with an overview of Senate Bill 24-205 and U.S. State AI legislation. The

The presentation provided a detailed overview of SB24-25, AI legislation
in other states, Generative AI systems, and Frontier AI/Foundation Models.
