Representative Gray,
prime sponsor, introduced Senate Bill 22-170 concerning permissible uses
of the money in the Waste Tire Administration, Enforcement, Market Development,
and Cleanup Fund and making an appropriation.  The bill allows the
Department of Public Health and Environment to use money in the fund for
inspections of facilities where tires are present to be completed by the
Division of Fire Prevention and Control within the Department of Public
Safety.  The bill also allows funds to be used for technical and other
assistance to facilities where waste tires are present.
