Megan Dollar talked
about the Colorado Municipal League.  She introduced team members.
 Ms. Dollar talked about legislative priorities, including affordable
housing, such as workforce housing and diversified housing.  She also
mentioned that the organization is looking at transparency measures around
utilities and tools to deal with wildfire damage.

Eric Bergman introduced
Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI).  Mr. Bergman discussed how the organization
supports counties and talked about staff members of the organization.  He
provided a packet of handouts (Attachment A).  The handouts included
the Colorado County Officials Directory which is only available on CCI's
website for members,

Ruth Aponte and Hilary
Cooper, representing Counties and Commissioners Acting Together (CCAT),
talked about the organization. Ms. Aponte provided a handout (Attachment
B).  Ms. Aponte and Ms. Cooper talked about the organization in general,
CCAT's legislative agenda, and the organization's focus this year, including
short term rentals.  Ms. Aponte touched on affordable housing, including
workforce housing and the Affordable Housing Transformational Task Force,
and behavioral health.  There was a discussion about public employee
collective bargaining and wildfire issues.

Michael Valdez, representing
the Special District Association talked about the his organization.  He
talked about staff of the organization and provided a history and shared
organization goals.  He provided a handout package (Attachment C).
 The package included large publications that may be requested through
the organization,
www.sdaco.org,
including Board Member Manual, A Guide to Special Districts,
and 2022 Guide to the 73rd Legislature 2nd Regular Session.  Mr.
Valdez talked about the services that the organization provides and the
legislative agenda, including ARPA funds and resources for firefighters.

Richard Orf, representing
the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, provided information
about the organization.  He talked about the members of the organization
and staff.  Mr. Orf provided information about the focus of the organization,
such as infrastructure, agriculture, and energy.  He talked about
economic development support by the organization, including enterprise
zones and workforce issues.

He continued to talk
about economic projects of the organization that help the entire western
slope.  In addition, he talked about the successes of the organization,
including healthcare for residents, Jumpstart projects, and the CORE-CM
project related to the Colorado School of Mines mineral supply chain.
