Representatives Pico
and D. Valdez introduced House Bill 22-1043 concerning motor vehicles that
operate on the roadway with fewer than four wheels in contact with the
roadway.  The bill modifies the definititon of autocycle and motorcycle
to clarify endorsements on licenses and safety equipment.  In addition,
the bill removes the $4 registration fee for autocycle owners and the authorization
for two autocycle drivers to ride side by side in one lane.  Representative
Pico provided a handout (Attachment A).

and Ortiz, co-prime sponsors, introduced House Bill 22-1004 concerning
a transfer of $3.9 million from the General Fund to the Licensing Services
Cash Fund.  The transfer allows the Department of Revenue to maintain
the current driver license fee while supporting the solvency of the fund.
