the expansion of the allowable uses of the Housing Development Grant Fund.
Allowable uses according to the bill include rental assistance; tenancy
support; and loans for the purchase of underutilized hotels, motels, and
properties. In addition, the bill expands those eligible for assistance.
The bill requires the Division of Housing within the Department of
Local Affairs to report on the program.
