Representative Ransom,
prime sponsor, introduced HB21-1252 concerning the ability of voters in
the Town of Parker in Douglas County to determine whether or not the town
should be included in the boundaries of the Regional Transportation District
(RTD).  If the voters elect to be excluded the bill provides that
the exclusion from RTD will not take effect until December 31, 2050.  In
addition, the bill provides that RTD will continue to collect taxes until
the effective date of exclusion.
