Representative Arndt, prime bill sponsor, presented House Bill 20-1172 to the committee. The bill establishes that a reduction in water usage due to an efficiency project does not constitute abandonment of a water right.  Representative Arndt responded to committee questions.

Representatives Catlin and McLachlan, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 20-1171 to the committee.  The bill directs the Department of Public Safety to conduct a pilot program using remote cameras to detect wildfires in the wildlian-urban interface. Representatives Catlin and McLachlan responded to committee questions.
