The meeting was called to order. All members were present. Representative Weissman presented some background information on the sunset process. Yelana Love, Office of Legislative Legal Services, provided additional background information on the sunset process, and the task before the committee. Vivienne Belmont, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), provided an overview of the sunset report for the Juvenile Justice Reform Committee. Ms. Belmont also provided additional background on the sunset process.

Mr. Thome responded to questions regarding the status of an outstanding juvenile justice project, and continued reporting with respect to the Juvenile Justice Reform Committee.

Ms. Belmont provided an overview of the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board, and the sunset report related to the board. Ms. Belmont responded to questions regarding a DORA recommendation to extend board compliance reviews beyond 11 years, the goals of the board's programming, and the recommendation for extending the board.
