The committee was called to order. A quorum was present. Representative Arndt, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 17-233, concerning the scheduled repeal of reports by the Department of Law to the General Assembly. Representative Arndt provided background on the series of bills seeking to remove departmental reporting requirements to the General Assembly, and discussed the specific reporting requirements repealed by the bill. Discussion ensued regarding certain reports to be eliminated by the bill. The chair laid the bill over for later consideration.
