The bill makes it unlawful to own an interest in a funeral establishment or a crematory and also own an interest in a nontransplant tissue bank. This bill also requires nontransplant tissue banks to register with the Department of Regulatory Agencies and creates a misdemeanor crime for law violations by nontransplant tissue banks.
