Representative Ginal called the committee back to order. Representative McCann and Representative Nordberg presented House Bill 16-1033, concerning the Colorado Human Trafficking Council. The bill allows members of the Human Trafficking Council to be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred in the performance of their duties on the council. This bill also removes the requirement that one member of the council be appointed by the Commissioner of Agriculture and instead requires that one person representing the judiciary be appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
