The bill expands the types of expenses eligible for the film production incentive allowed to production companies under current law, and requires companies to submit information to the Department of Revenue to claim the incentive. He distributed a fact sheet and amendment L.001.

Mr Xander Martin, representing the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, testified in support of the bill.

Representatives Marshall and Taggart, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 23-1277. The bill makes several changes to income tax reporting requirements, including the information to be included on forms and the time when forms are due.  Written testimony about HB 23-1277 is included as Attachment D).

Mrs. Alicia Gelinas, representing Colorado Society of CPAs, testified in support of the bill.
