Representative Soper presented House Bill 21-1100, along with a strike-below, amendment L.001 (Attachment A). The bill requires state and county governments to have an electronic filing process for all documents that each entity requires or allows to be filed.

Representative Hooton presented House Bill 21-1174 to the committee.  The bill transfers the premium received from Senate Bill 20-219’s lease-purchase agreement from the General Fund to the Capital Construction Fund.

Leah Marvin-Riley, representing the Department of the Treasury, testified in support of the bill.

Representatives Exum and Van Winkle presented House Bill 21-1084 to the committee. The bill requires the Department of Human Services to reimburse counties for foster children to attend driver education courses; limits government liability related to foster youth who drive; and updates driver licenses documentation requirements for foster youth.
