Becker, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 18-088, which provides legal authority for special districts to collect sales taxes on retail marijuana, as long as the special districts levied sales taxes on retail marijuana prior to July 1, 2017. Representative Becker distributed amendment L.003 [Attachment A].

Representative Thurlow, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 18-1144, which removes a statutory reference to the mailing of the income tax booklet by the Department of Revenue and instead requires that the disclosure of average taxes paid be made via the department's website and its individual income tax filing software.  Representative Thurlow distributed amendment L.001 [Attachment D] and a memo to the Statutory Revision Committee, prepared by the Office of Legislative Legal Services [Attachmetn E].
