Senator Woods, chair, called to order the second conference committee on Senate Bill 16-180, concerning a specialized program within the Department of Corrections for certain offenders who were convicted as adults for offenses they committed as juveniles. Senator Woods commented on recent House proceedings on the bill. Representative Foote responded, and discussed the amendments that were adopted by the House. Representative Kagan recapped discussion in the House on the report of the first conference committee on SB 16-180, and proposed a course of action for the second conference committee.
