The committee came back to order.

Representative Sirota and Representative Pelton, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 22-1369, concerning support for children's mental health programs.  By November 1, 2022, the Department of Early Childhood must contract with a Colorado-based nonprofit entity to provide children's mental health programs. The entity must have previous and current experience serving children and use curriculum outlined in the bill.

Keyton Loner, representing self, testified to amend the bill.

Kendra Dunn, representing the Colorado Department of Human Services, testified in support of the bill.

Lisa Hill, representing Invest in Kids, testified in support of the bill.

Marisa Gullicksrud, representing Invest in Kids, testified in support of the bill.
