called to order.  A quorum was present.  Representative Weissman
made some opening remarks on the meeting schedule.  Representative
Amabile, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 24-029. The bill creates
a working group in the Department of Public Safety to study metrics other
than recidivism to measure criminal justice system outcomes.  Representative
Amabile explained the effect of the bill and discussed its need.

the bill. Dr. Michael Neil, representing the Colorado Cross-Disability
Coalition, testified in support of the bill.
