Public Highway Authority Update - Committee Discussion Only

Beau Memory, Executive
Director of the E-470 Highway Authority, introduced himself and began his
presentation.  Mr. Memory described E-470's purpose, background on
the highway, traffic trends from 2019-2022, opportunities for cost savings,
regional partnerships, upcoming improvements, the roadway widening project,
trail connections, environmental stewardship, regional economic impact,
safety commitment, partnership with Colorado State Patrol, partnerships
with Colorado correctional industries, and commercial vehicle support.
 Mr. Memory answered questions from the committee.  The E-470
presentation is included as Attachment A.

John Diak, Board Chair of the E-470 Highway Authority, introduced himself and was available for questions from the committee.

Joel Meggers, Managing
Administrator of the Northwest Parkway Authority, and Pedro Costa, CEO
of the Northwest Parkway Authority, introduced themselves and began their
presentation.  Mr. Meggers described the members of the highway authority
and gave a background on the history of the authority, an overview of the
facility, and an overview of its milestones. Mr. Costa continued the presentation
by describing the Northwest Parkway Concession, traffic statistics, toll
revenue, toll rates, oversight, recent improvements, the Marshall Fire
Toll Relief Fund, and their sustainability efforts and solar program.  The
Northwest Parkway Authority's presentation is included as Attachment B.

Bill Ray, Executive
Director of the Jefferson Parkway Highway Authority, introduced himself
and began his presentation. Mr. Ray gave an overview of the history of
the Denver mobility beltway, the status of the project, and progress over
the past five years.  Mr. Ray answered questions from the committee.
 The Jefferson Parkway Highway Authority's presentation is included
as Attachment C.
