and Hooton, co-prime sponsors, introduced House Bill 22-1028 concerning
statewide regulation of persons approaching controlled intersections who
are not operating motor vehicles.  The bill proposes extending the
current law which allows persons not operating a motor vehicle approaching
a stop light to pull through after checking to see if it is safe to proceed.
 The same persons approaching a stop sign may also pull through after
slowing to 15 miles per hour, or 10 or 20 miles per hour if so determined
by a municipality or county.
