Michael Dougherty, District Attorney of the 28th Judicial District, discussed felony reorganization and sentencing certainty.
Dr. Abigail Tucker, Vice Chair of the CCJJ, discussed ongoing recommendation development.
Committee members inquired about felony reorganization, consecutive sentencing, recidivism, sentencing reform, and successful rehabilitation of individuals coming out of state prison.
Committee members asked questions about incentives, such as earned time and good time. Committee members noted the accomplishments of the CCJJ.
