The committee was
called to order. A quorum was present. Doug Vilsack, Assistant
Director for Parks, Wildlife and Lands at Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW),
presented on CPW's supplemental request. Committee members received a written
description of the request, prepared by Legislative Council Staff (Attachment
A). Mr. Vilsack provided an overview of the request and discussed
its need. Mr. Vilsack responded to questions regarding the need for
additional money for Fisher's Peak State Park, and work that needs to be
done to open the park. Discussion ensued regarding delays in opening
the park, and expected revenue from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses.

The committee returned to order. Mr. Vilsack continued the discussion on projected divisional revenue. Discussion returned to the path to opening Fisher's Peak State Park.
