Dr. Jonathan Samet and Dr. Gregory Tung from the Colorado School of Public Health presented on recent research from the school.  Two handouts were distributed to the committee (Attachments C and D).

Dr. Tung discussed a recent study on Medicaid expansion in Colorado.  Dr. Samet discussed partnerships with state agencies to study various public health issues in Colorado.  Dr. Tung dscussed a partnership with Pew Charitable Trusts to provide detailed analysis on state health legislation.

Dr. Samet and Dr. Tung responded to committee questions regarding suicide prevention research, health notes, and youth violence prevention.
