Laura Clellan, Adjutant General of Colorado, presented to the committee.
She provided a review of the Department of Military and Veterans
Affairs. A copy of the presentation was provided to the committee

Colonel Carrie Worrell,
Director, discussed the Joint Resiliency Directorate Guard Resilience Integration
Team (GRIT). She reviewed the prevention programs, behavioral health
resources, and service member and family supports available under the Joint
Resiliency Directorate. Colonel Worrell referenced the Colorado National
Guard Joint Resiliency Helpline.

Family Program Director, provided examples of cases the Joint Resiliency
Directorate assisted in that involved service members and their families.
She discussed the Joining Community Forces Initiative.

Colonel Worrell reviewed the continuum of harm. She reviewed the symbolism in the directorate's logo.

Brigadier General Clellen made concluding remarks about the directorate. Brigadier General Clellen and Colonel Worrell responded to questions from the committee.
