Sunset Review Hearing on the Speech-language Pathology Practice Act - Introduction of Draft Bill

Representative Michaelson Jenet made introductory remarks about the sunset process.  A memorandum on the sunset process was distributed to the committee members (Attachment A).

Representative Michaelson Jenet stated that the hearings on the sunset reports for the Speech-langauge Pathology Practice Act and Elevator and Escalator Certification Act were being held in accordance with Section 24-34-104 (6), C.R.S.

Bryan Jameson, representing the Department of Regulatory Agencies, reviewed the sunset process. He discussed the sunset report on the Speech-language Pathology Practice Act (Attachment B). A copy of the related draft bill was distributed to the committee (Attachment C).
