Representative Tipper,
co-prime bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 22-081, concerning a requirement
that the board of directors of the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange create
a consumer outreach campaign to provide consumers with comprehensive information
regarding covered health-care services. The bill requires that the Board
of the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange create and implement a public awareness
and education campaign to inform consumers about health care coverage options
by July 1, 2023. The campaign will provide education focused on attaining
and retaining coverage, as well as eligibility and costs.
