Recent Changes in School Funding in Colorado - Committee Discussion Only

made some opening remarks as did other committee members.

The committee began by hearing a presentation on the recent changes in school finance from the Office of Legislative Legal Services and Legislative Council Staff. Dr. Marc Carey, Legislative Council Staff, came to the table to discuss an overview of the day's presentation.

Mr. Jacob Baus, Legislative Legal Services, came to the table to discuss recent school funding formula changes. He began by noting the at-risk changes in Senate Bill 21-268 and House Bill 22-1202.
