Senator Hisey, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 20-1029, concerning the authority of an elected county officer to elect to receive a lower salary than the amount provided for by law. Senator Hisey responded to questions regarding the compensation structure for county officials, and an amendment placed on the bill in the House of Representatives.
