Senator Winter asked
committee members to present their bill draft ideas before moving the requests.
 The proposed bills were as follows:



1. Representative Gray requested a draft bill around fixing the issue of
new fleet license plates, as presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.



2. Representative Huffman requested a draft bill to strengthen the Colorado
slow-down, move-over laws. Representative Huffman responded to questions
from the committee.  



3. Representative Boesenecker requested a draft bill to study motor carriers
operating inside of a roundabout, specifically using multiple lanes.



4. Representative Gray requested a draft bill on automated enforcement
of traffic laws. Representative Gray responded to questions from the committee.



5. Senator Winter requested a draft bill on adding EV charging stations
to rest stops should the federal restrictions go away. Senator Winter responded
to questions from the committee.



6. Representative D. Valdez requested a draft bill on expanding narrow
bridges in rural Colorado. Representative Valdez responded to questions.



7. Representative D. Valdez requested a draft bill on maintaining rest
stops along rural corridors in the state.



8. Representative Pico requested a draft bill on catalytic converter theft
to allow people who have had their catalytic converter stolen to have a
non-California certified, but still federally certified, catalytic converter
installed to replace their stolen converter. Representative Pico answered
questions from the committee.



9. Senator Winter requested a draft bill to update and streamline drivers
education and provide more affordability.



10. Senator Winter requested a draft bill to look at interstate motor carriers
fine structure. Senator Winter responded to questions.
