and Representative Soper, sponsors, presented Senate Bill 25-019. They
distributed a fact sheet about the bill (Attachment B). The bill allows
the use of either the most recent version, or a prior version, of the National
Geodetic Survey’s state plane coordinate system to state geographic positions
or locations within Colorado. The bill does not prohibit use of the Colorado
coordinate system of 1927 or 1983.
