Marivel Klueckman, Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), came to the table to discuss mixed medical households. She explained that mixed medical health households are households with members enrolled in Medicaid or CHP+ and other members enrolled in Connect for Health Colorado with financial assistance. A document was distributed [Attachment B].

Ms. Klueckman discussed income levels of these households and stated that there are approximately 1,157 mixed medical households in Colorado.

Ms. Kleuckman discussed how mixed households fill out an application to determine eligibility for health programs. The Households receive ongoing case management and customer service through their county office.

Kate Harris, Connect for Health Colorado, came to the table to discuss Connect for Health's initiatives concerning mixed eligibility households.

Ms. Klueckman and Mr. Patterson responded to questions concerning the inconsistent definition of household between federal agencies and state agencies, and churning trends. Steve Erkenbrack, Vice Chair Connect for Health Colorado Board of Directors came to the table to respond to questions from the committee.
