Mr. Sloan responded to questions regarding the penalties contained in SB 23-095, and penalties in similar laws in other states. Discussion followed regarding enforcement of the law, and the connection between felonizing the behavior addressed by the bill and protecting those who fly aircraft. Mr. Sloan responded to questions regarding the use of "knowingly" instead of "intentionally" in the bill.

Representative Epps explained the effect of amendment L.003 (Attachment F). Discussion ensued regarding the merits of the amendment.
