Senator Zenzinger, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 18-006 to the committee. The bill allows but does not require that county clerks collect a surcharge on document filing fees to fund an attainable housing program.  Senator Zenzinger provided amendment L.001 [Attachment E] and explained that it clarifies that money raised in a county under the bill would go back to that county.
