Greg Fulton, President
of the Colorado Motor Carriers Association, introduced himself and gave
an overview of challenges and opportunities facing the trucking industry.
 CMCA's presentation is included as Attachment F. Mr. Fulton discussed
the importance of the trucking industry to Colorado, the size of the trucking
industry in Colorado, efforts to reduce emissions in trucking, broader
industry concerns, driver and technician shortages, concerns specific to
Colorado, resiliency issues related to canyon closures, actions to reduce
truck-related GHG emissions, where the greatest problems for on-highway
diesel emissions lie, overview of getting older trucks off of the roads,
and proposed improvements for consideration by TLRC.
