Submitting to the registered electors of the state of Colorado amendments to the Colorado constitution concerning repeal of the state board of education.
Bill Summary:
The concurrent resolution authorizes the general assembly to provide by law for the general supervision of the public schools of the state, but prohibits the general assembly from creating a state board of education. The concurrent resolution repeals the provision that creates and assigns duties to the state board of education and all other constitutional references to the state board of education.
