Racial Profiling Prohibition

Concerning updates to the statutory prohibition on profiling by peace officers.

Under current law, there is a prohibition against profiling by a peace officer. The act adds to the prohibition by updating the profiling definition to include profiling based on national origin, language, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability.
