The committee discussed drafting legislation to suspend interim committees during the 2020 interim. Speaker Becker stated that the Legislative Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Committee should continue to meet during the 2020 legislative interim. The committee directed OLLS to draft legislation to suspend interim committee activies during the 2020 session. The committee agreed to have the Majority and Minority Leaders be the prime co-sponsors of the bill, with the Speaker and President as co-sponsors.
