Staff distributed a memorandum summarizing the testimony given to the JBC by country representatives about CBMS at the JBC meeting on January 7, 2020 (Attachment E). Mr. Wilson stated that the project went live in August 26, 2019, and provided an update on the project, including challenges post go-live. Ms. Powell discussed the issues with counties experiencing a backlog of applications within CBMS. 12:48:51 PM Mr. Wilson, Ms. Powell, and Ms. Klueckman responded to questions from the committee about application backlog, timeliness of approving applications, utilizing the old system, outstanding help desk tickets, original design problems, the timeline to improve design issues, interoporability, continued work with counties, staff training, making sure people are getting the services they need, and if Colorado Digital Services is being used to help with the project. Representative Singer asked for an additional CBMS update at the next JTC meeting.
